happy birthday to me

last night i had a flu
and accidentally ironed a handsome 3cm mark on my left wrist (no no it was not a suicidal trial)

i took pills while reading some hearty birthday wishes kept coming thru after midnight
geee.. thank you
then i fell asleep
the pills were supposed to make me feel drowsy

on the contrary(well im nt sure whether it was really because of the pills)
i got startled every hour
and yes,, i couldnt sleep
i didnt fancy the idea of having insufficient sleep hours

as i was going to have a full day classes on the next day
plus i want to look good on my birthday

well, thank god everything is superb today
i am strangely stable after going thru a straight 10hours of classes

then me and hun headed to klcc
decided to have a light and really nice dinner

so i opted manhattan fish market (tho i do not eat fish)
i had crunchy shrimps and hun had sumthing in a mini wok -served with flame heater by a man (the waiter looked so weird with the contact lense; guess sumthing wrong with the colour.hihi)
the food were all scrumptious but as usual i only ate 1/3 of my food

we had a light window shopping
seemed like most of the shops were busy preparing for the mega sale that will start tomorrow
(wrong timing)
hun wanted to jam later so we went to pt dlm to kill time

and i guiltily ordered a delicious nasi kukus (with a small portion of rice)
hihi
then i went back and so eager to blog on my beautiful day
here are some snapshots of the day

many thanks to super nice ppl who had called and sent me sms-es.

God bless you
nice day people!

note to hun:
thank you for a really really nice birthday gift
i owe you one (opps, bought you the thank you token already) hehe

First Half of 07: The Book Sense Assessment

Tuesday, July 10, 2007

I love reading .It’s just the simplest thing that makes you alive. It’s heartening to read simple yet exquisite sentences bringing new senses and atmosphere close to your heart. I started reading when I was about 4.
I don’t exactly remember how I started that but I definitely will not forget a night under the dining table in my house when I was that age:

Mum : You have to finish the book before you go to bed
Me : *Sob..sob* (crying)
Mum : You have to!
Me : I dun want.. (still crying)
Mum : Suit yourself!

10 seconds later

Me :*Sob..sob* The thuuunder roareddd and ..*sob sob* the rain pourrred down..*sob sob*…

(*Accompanied by distance laughters of my siblings)

I continued reading another last paragraph of the ladybird storybook in an extremely deep cry foul. Yes, I somehow felt that it was not fair for mum forcing me to read the book.
Why I was under the table? I hardly remember the pre-drama scenes.
Well anyway, that was just a peek of my home school session. Hehe

Yes, my mother was a teacher and I can vouch you that I am her most stubborn student. Albeit the whines and dramas that I used to give her; I am very much thankful for her great diligence & love in turning me into who I am today. It was her who kindled my interest in books.

Mak, Love you & Thank you for believing in me when I decided to quit kindergarten
Now that sounds weird, isn’t it?
(Yes, I only went to kindergarten for 1 month. I stopped attending one from the day I came back home complaining how much we were wasting our time as I had advanced in my home school)
Haha I was pretty much a protester

Back to where we took a halt.

10 points for today’s escapade.

Self Note-During Trips to Borders @ Times Warehouse Sale

I shall not buy any of those books with interestingly designed covers and vague synopsis on the backside as it will only give a top-up to the Used-To-Get-A-Start reading piles in the brown basket. (Not giving a list of the said ones. hehe)

Not buying or grabbing a book is actually NOT a sin.
I just knew it.

damn if you do, damn if you don't

well, been quite sumtime since I last updated
should be actively writing these days
but just too lazy for the first move sigh
a lot of things have been going on lately like A LOT
I am happily lounging around the house now
honestly since mm.. 20th may
and that rounded it up for 14 days now
wow not that long but I actually have started feeling bored
I quickly got bored with staying at home
sigh guess I was so used to travel here and there

Today is the 4th of july.and i am officially letting go of the utm’s offer for a week already.sumtmes I seem to get lost of everything that’s happening around me. Things came at once and so so sudden.2 months ago I never have imagined that I have to make such a big decision and ..back to school, lyn? It definitely didn’t make sense at that time as everything was different. The workplace was different, the scenario was different.but in approximately of about 1 month ++, I am at home..at times occupied in carrying out some arrangements.Yes, that scholarship thingy. Now UM people are so getting on my nerves,, for God’s sake cant you just work faster? Can you accelerate your process? Not that Im not being thankful for the offer from UM, God knows how much I am. But, can you just respect people and compare the procedure that UTM people are dealing with? Basically now there’s not much that I can do as I need a bloody sheet form which is then needs to be handed to the grumpy register assistant for scholarship process. And I presume the whole process will take about 3 months to complete.sigh sigh. That’s the big Reason why im going back to work this coming Monday.

and now mom’s talking about going to visit my bro sumtime in sept. I want to go with my families and just not to worry of my whereabouts in sept.sigh sigh.luckily my loved ones are always with me. The company keeps me sane love!Oh I am not going to talk about this anymore till everything’s thoroughly settled and confirmed.

Last night we had a nice dinner at midvalley. We had a really really great time..laughing and sharing some lame jokes and stories. Everybody seemed so exhausted at first guess the tiredness from the work were still there. But it didn’t take so long to stretch everything and getting so excited. Haha it was a blast..and yes, we bought the friendship token, yeay plus we are so full of crap in our group circle today.haha.

Im going to bed now cz I begin to feel so sleepy.will resume on some interesting updates soon

p/s: the saddest thing of all is that i lost my hp.while shopping.
p/p/s:the latest and happiest news is that i got a new hp.birthday girl y'all :)
